The World of Wonder can do no wrong because they never want to be right. Lately they've been working on bringing back some oldies but goodies and continuing their groundbreaing hit Logo show, RuPaul's Drag Race. For more on their legacy, read our interview here.
Premiering today, W.O.W.'s latest throwback is a talk show still like no other. For The Love Of... was originally broadcast in 1994 on Britain's Channel Four. "The anti-talk show," as World of Wonder co-founder Fenton Bailey describes it, brings together "unfamous guests encouraged to talk endlessly about a single topic they are obsessed about!" The episodic topics are extreme: moon landing conspiracy theories, the death of princess Diana, the existence of the Loch Ness Monster, unidentified flying objects, near-death experiences, Scientology... These evergreen subjects of controversy and endless conversation are explored in depth by host Jon Ronson and his non-celebrity guests, who don't waste your time selling their latest book, perfume or movie. They are passionate enthusiasts and experts on the topics in question. "It's the talk show to watch, when you're not watching a talk show!" says Fenton's partner Randy Barbato.
