Swedish four-piece Kate Boy has been crafting the kind of incandescent, spiky synth pop that fellow country mates The Knife originally seduced us with back in their Deep Cuts era. Some iterations of infectious electronic arpeggios never seem to go out of style, and that is what has kept these kids on steady rotation here in the office at V. In the above video for second single "In Your Eyes," the simple slow-motion setup of the band playing synth pads as a fluorescent light show pops off around them is all they need to mesmerize us as flawlessly as they do with their sound.
