"The Champ" by The Mohawks 

Best music video of all time?
If you don't say Michael Jackson’s "Thriller," you should quit life. It had everything; it created the blueprint for what music videos are today, it's timeless. If I had to pick a close runner up that wasn't so obvious I'd pick Prodigy's "Smack My Bitch Up" video. That did it for me. 

What would you play if you were to DJ a runway show—and which designer would you want it to be?
Well, I have done some runway stuff. One year I did something for Vivienne Westwood. I'd like to work with someone young and fun. I like working with Alex Wang on his Fashion Week parties in New York and London so he'd be my choice, and I'd play timeless hip hop, especially from the early 2000s and probably whatever I was feeling like at the moment that went with what he wanted to do with the clothes. I don't discriminate by genre—If a song is good, it's good.

Where is the best place to play music?
New York is still the best for me. The best places are where the you have the best crowds. I think people in Japan and Miami are really knowledgeable about music and that’s exciting, but some of my most memorable nights in the last year have come in unexpected places like Rotterdam and Newfoundland.
