“Ten years ago, together with Adidas, we created something that did not exist before, and we completely projected the future,” said Yohji Yamamoto on Y-3, which celebrated its decennial January 19th. “My desire was and is to make sportswear elegant and chic. Adidas has always been a very personal inspiration to me, and it continues to enrich my creative life.”
In commemoration of 10 winning years, Y-3 is releasing its first men's fragrance, Black Label, available in Y-3 flagship stores and online next month. To resonate with the brand's chic-yet-sporty followers, the scent balances the masculine qualities of cedar, cardamom and black pepper with touches of lavandin and tagetes.
Like Mr. Yamamoto, we're projecting the future: Black Label will soon be recognizable in elegant locker rooms everywhere.
