February 20th, Milan Fashion Week. Last night, Prada emerged with a new addition to their Iconoclasts project with a brand new vision for the Prada women's and men's Monte Napoleone stores. Edward Enninful was inspired by the energy and aura of the Harlem Renaissance. The women's store was filled with black and white mannequins, decked out in Prada S/S '14 and archive looks and reimagined as guests of a 1920s speakeasy. The decorations of said speakeasy included a glittering art-deco bar, reminiscent of the orginal Harlem vibe, while the men's store featured much of the same vibe, with the addition of game tables. New fashion images shot by Emma Summerton and Enninful will be presented in both stores. The sound of the evening: authentic jazz and blues of the era, of course.
