In the age of the remix, producers are gaining some much deserved cred. But waht happens to the original track when another iteration finds its way to a brand new venue? Enter the advent of the remix EP, around for years but refining its real purpose in popular culture only recently. A finer example than the new Crystal Fighters "Love Natural" EP (Atlantic, December 17th, 2013) doesn't surface often, the nuances of which offer each version of the track new life we haven't heard since the song's release in May of this year. Now the London group's hits of their newest album, Cave Rave can be heard anywhere from the mall to the dance hall to the psyched out hookah bar. Enjoy this pre-release today, only on VMAN.com.

How does it feel to hear one song stray so far from the original mix? Is it ever scary?
CF Remixes are actually great fun, because you yourself can only make the song in one way, so hearing someone else's perspective on it is so awesome. The further away from the original, the better.
Who are you listening to right now?
CF Norwegian future superstar Cashmere Cat and new London band and friends Arthur Beatrice
Do you ever remix other artist's songs—or do you want to?
