Last night, The Whitney Museum of American Art hosted its 2013 Gala and Studio Party, supported by Louis Vuitton at Skylight at Moynihan Station. This year the guest of honor was Ed Ruscha, whose "Hollywood" imagery served at the backdrop for photo ops, and who gave a touching speech during an elegant dinner. Guests also enjoyed a surprise performance by David Byrne and a life drawing class put on by LV. Art and fashion couldn't get closer: Artists sat on LV trunks while nude slyly covered certain areas with LV scarves.
