Even since his laid back L.A. move, Seth Bogart, of Hunx and his Punx and Gravy Train!!!! notoriety, is hard to keep up with. Did you know he has a record label? It’s called Wacky Wacko. And that he makes shirts with designer Peggy Noland? You already knew that. Besides his show, Hollywood Nails, his band, his label, and his fashion brand, Bogart has somehow finds the time to soak up the sun on the sand, shop, hang out—and to occasionally promote the records he produces, like this one.
You may remember Jonny Makeup from hip-hop trio VIP Party Boys, or maybe you remember him from all the guest spots on random reality shows and webisodes he did, or perhaps you don't even remember him at all.
Whatever the case, Jonny's debut single has been over a decade in the making! “DADT” (Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell) “showcases a refreshing new doo-wop/Josie Cotton sound with a storyline about a heartbreaking tryst with an Army boy. The B-side, “OMG” evokes an “updated, tongue twisting, text-talk heavy, Danceteria-style jam and features back up vocals by Amanda Blank.”
“DADT” comes out May 28 digitally, but you can order the limited edition lavender or glow in the dark 7" now at Wacky Wacko.
