Meet Amanda Laine, winner of the 2007 V A Model! search. Miuccia and Nicolas are already entranced

There’s reality fashion, and then there’s the reality of fashion. Just two months after she first set foot in New York City, Amanda Laine, the 16-year-old Canadian winner of the 2007 V A Model! Search, is already staking out a name for herself on the European runways. After star turns in Milan at Prada and Marni last week, Amanda sealed the deal this morning when she took look five at Balenciaga in Paris. And that's not the last you'll see of her in city of love and light—but mum's the word for now.

As the grand prize winner of V A Model!, Amanda receives a three-year contract with Supreme Management, as well as a shoot to be published in V—to be photographed as soon as she gets off the international catwalk circuit. You're witnessing the meteoric rise of a new fashion face. Stay tuned for part two of the star factory in September 2008.
