11.04.08 NEVER BEEN TO ME
A large-scale photo show in L.A. explores ashrams, oms, and the quest for peace and tranquility

Feeling the need for some spiritual enlightenment? Whilst we can't exactly fly you to India, we can tell you about a new photography exhibit which opened over the weekend in Los Angeles at Taylor De Cordoba Gallery. "The Searchers" spotlights West meeting East via an impressive assortment of large-scale images that explore spiritual tourism in India. Brought to you by the New York–based husband and wife team Sasha Bezzubov and Jessica Sucher, the show is the result of a one-year Fulbright Scholarship Award spent in yoga centers, meditation retreats, and ashrams capturing travelers searching for inner peace, tranquility, and anything else that comes to mind when chanting the words Om, Amma, and Ahhhh. Altogether now!

"The Searchers: Sasha Bezzubov and Jessica Sucher" runs through
December 20th, 2008, at Taylor de Cordoba, Los Angeles
